Restaurant Mr. Freddie`s in Loule

Service and hospitality very warm and the staff is very professional and small care. we were served appetizers like cheeses accompanied by honey and config fruit. we ordered a beef briand castle, fish grill and fish skewer. the products are fresh and the cost is right. I recommend this restaurant for lovers and families.

Absolutely fantastic - from start to finish. Fabulous food, excellent services, not cheap but worth every penny. Off the beaten track, so only those willing to take extra 10 minutes drive will reach it, and get well rewarded for the effort!

This place is our favourite restaurant whenever we go to Portugal. The steaks are incredible!

Limited menu. Oredered Tomohawk Steak to be given Veal. Manager said this should have been explained but waitress forgot. I appreciate some of you may believe this is my mistake but the menu is not clear anymore. Used to be a great place

I've been eating here for (must be 20 odd) years with my family, I used to come with my grandparents and parents as a child and now I take my daughter. The food is always absolutely fantastic and the service second to none! The outdoor setting is so pretty too. Our no 1 restaurant in the Almancil area. Sorry to hear Nuno has left and we wish him all the best.

Hot and stuffy place. Even with the restaurant empty we were placed on a super badly positioned table, in a corner. And the food does not justify the value.

Unfortunately we booked online for 9 pax taxi there - when we arrived we were informed they didnt have a booking for us !!Come back Monday guests leaving today not likely to return.

Lovely meal tonight at Mr Freddies. Been coming to Vale do Lobo for many years and driven past this restaurant but first time we have eaten there. Beautiful steaks in lovely outdoor surroundings all served by the most friendly staff. Will definitely come again.

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant. The service at this restaurant was outstanding and the food was great. It’s a shame that it is such a good restaurant and not as busy as others. Would highly recommend this restaurant if you like fine dining and an exceptional night out.

Fantastic restaurant. Staff are so friendly and polite. They shake your hand as you leave and even guided me out of the car park and checked the traffic as I left. Food was amazing. Monkfish and prawn kebab with wild rice and hot Piri piri sauce (on the side), stone bass in tomato sauce, lamb cutlets was also melt in the mouth, crepe Suzette was delicious and made in front of you . Family friendly . Definitely going again. Price wasn't too bad considering we are in Portugal.

Excellent food, wonderful atmosphere sitting under the leafy branches. When I visited with my family the staff gave really exceptional service, were friendly and attentive and made for a wonderful evening. Definitely recommend checking it out when visiting the Algarve.

We chose Freddie's because it has a nice garden. And would not be disappointed: comfortable, but also more "fine dining", which is not always so easy with children. But went, also thanks to the staff, very neat.The food was very good and the prices are - as usual in the area - rather in the upper segment. Especially fish dishes and the "Portuguese steak" are recommended.The service was very good, but could have been a bit more attentive (drinks), but that is complaining at a very high level. I give "only" 4 stars for the following reason: I missed something "special" or "peculiar". Menu and service I would have received in Switzerland or in many other country more or less identical. But I want to experience the Algarve and Portugal with their people, culture and cuisine, when I go to "fine dining". A good steal or a nice fish is also available at the Radisson at the airport :)

Food is best. Friendly and attentive staff. It's always good to go back there. Customer since 2003.
